John has over 25 years of experience growing and harvesting quality sod. John and his wife, Laura, have two children, Patrick and Rebecca and the entire family enjoys living in Gulf Shores.

MITCH CRAFT, born and raised in Baldwin County, graduated from Auburn University with a finance degree in December of 2003 and joined the Turf Farms’ sales staff almost immediately. Working at Craft Turf Farms has been a life long dream of Mitch’s and his role with the company revolves full circle from taking orders all the way to job site delivery. When not working, Mitch is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys everything from hunting to diving and fishing.

JEREMY GILLEY began working at Craft Turf Farms in August 1992 and currently oversees our sod production and trucking divisions. Jeremy and his wife, Melody, have two children, Austin and Ethan and are expecting another girl, Kayle, this August. Jeremy enjoys hunting and fishing when not busy on the farm or with his family.

WESLEY CALLAWAY is a real asset to our Sod Production team with his positive attitude and years of experience. Wesley’s family is one of our area’s founding families and he carries on the Callaway family tradition with his weekend fishing adventures. Wesley and his wife, Jenny, have two children, a daughter Candace and a son Chad.

Another life long Baldwin County resident, CARMEN HAYES grew up on her parent’s farm in Elberta, AL and swore she would never work on a farm. However, things do not always work out as planned and Carmen has been with Craft Turf Farms since 1989. Carmen and her husband, Dewane have two children, Marideth and Claire and enjoy spending time as a family and on the water in their spare time.

DON PEARSON, the newest addition to the Turf Farm, joined the Sales staff in 2005. He brings valuable sales and shipping experience Originally from Duluth, Minnesota, Don has lived in Baldwin County for over 10 years. He and his wife, Karen, have twin boys, William and Thomas, and live in Daphne, AL. Don is an avid golfer who loves to hit the links whenever he can find time.

JEFF EICHER has been with Craft Turf Farms since 1982 and is currently responsible for overseeing all farm crews and assisting with sod production. Jeff and his wife, Cindy, have one son, Ian, who is currently attending Faulkner College.

RICHARD HADLEY, our Mowing Supervisor, has been with us since 1996 and is responsible for all field preparation and mowing. He and his wife, Sharon, have one son, Chris. Richard enjoys woodworking and fishing in his spare time.
